Visitors at the Microsoft Technology Center in Manhattan can get a glimpse of the future by getting their hands on a Surface table.

Instead of rolling a mouse around to move a cursor around on the screen, more and more users will gesture with their fingers on touch screens and multi-touch track pads, analysts say.

The tendencies toward promoting ecologically friendly products has been embraced by many manufacturers.

The E200 Eco cell phone, produced by Samsung is a shining example of the trend. It’s the third model of cell phone they have produced with parts made from bioplastics. Big deal you are now thinking – plastic is plastic. That may seem to be true but this innovative new material is made from corn. Bioplastics = a substance made from materials found in and extracted from – corn. (more…)

During this years event Ron Reardon (left), President of the United Inventors Association awarded Stephen Kazyaka, a resident of Sherman CT, with the prestigious award “Product most likely to succeed in the market place” for his invention of the KAZ e KUP®.

The Yankee Invention Expo is a yearly event that takes place in the Waterbury, Connecticut Armory. The Expo showcases new products and innovations from around the world that are available to business and industry for manufacturing, licensing or distribution.
