I am a similar victim just as many others that used PTI as a means to get an inventioned registered, patented, or excepted by a manufacturer. I sent them a large amount of money and did not get anything close to what I was promised. I am not sue in how w proceed, but I am hoping that when their assest are released that we can get a refund on the money that we sent them.

I to am interested in finding out if we are entitled to our money back or not!! I sent them $880 at a time when I didn’t really have it, and this happens!! I know the scheduled hearing as been changed to April 30th!! Any insight as to what might happen??

I’ve been dealing with pti for the last 4 to five years.Once I paid half on my invention i was told that a lawyer would be getting in touch with me,but I haven’t heard from any one since.I do check once in a while on my balance with them but that’s about it.I apprx $2,000 wich I really didn’t have,so I thought that would get the ball rolling.But they haven’t contacted me about anything since I paid half on my invention,wich they told me that we would start making progress but we never did.That’s why I decided to wait until they got in touch with me before I sent them anymore money.But that never happened,so I called them and the only information they had was my balance.I no I didn’t pay the full balance,but they told me once I paid half of the balance that I would hear from one of their attorneys and we would start to get the ball rolling,but it never happened..my file #(1957259).

I paid them $3,400.00, Patent Trademark Institute, on a recommendation from the gentleman who set up my corporation. I never received anything in writing from them, just a call to tell me to place “TM” after my company name and logo? I have looked online and do not see that anything was ever filed. They did tell me that it would take years to complete the search and finalize my trademark. The contact phone number I had is no longer valid. THis all started back in May/June of 2004. Any help in recovering my monies or a finding of a file nubmer or something to show that they did anything for the money would be appreciated.

Lost Trademark

my name is doug sherman i used pti for my invention i got my patent but not my trade mark they told me my invention was the next mr coffee and i would make a lot of royalties so far my patent is still in the package i recieved it in and i have no trade mark this cost me $12500.00 that i borrowed against my moms property and i will be paying this for 12 more years what a scam i do believe my invention is good or i would not have spent this kind of money on it

Looks like there are a lot of us that put trust in PTI and was taken for a great deal of money!
My friend and I paid them $14,700.00 and all we got was a copyright, letter from their patent attorney Sung Ho and NOTHING else. Well we did get a nice big black leather folder with all info in it?

I sure would like to know when and IF they ever go to court so I could maybe there! I don’t put a lot of faith in our judicial system anymore either. Money really is the root of ALL evil.
I hope that ALL of us victims can get our money back or most of it anyhow.
I keep reminding myself that these people will PAY for this on their judgement day.

My partner and I have sent P.T.I. over $6,200. This is since April 2004. I have received an outline of my product, a patent search, and the names of two companies (were they real?) that showed an interest in my product. Neither company has responded to my inquiries. The product design in reality should have been an 8 figure product in the first year. I am curious to know if there is or will be a class action lawsuit against P.T.I. and what if any recourse we may have to recover not only our finances, but our dreams. Pat Jones

yes we were all scamed and i dont think there is any hope that we will get our money back,but the lord say vengence be mine and i beleive that the scum that took our money and made us good on paper with promises of riches will pay in hell for what they done to us and our familys.
Many could have been helped if they were up and up and helped us.
lives and could been saved with my invention ,but i wont ever know because i dont trust anybody now and it would take one on one to pursuade me different

I’m glad i did a little research on this company, i was just about to get ripped off. I’m certainly not going to be doing business with a company that is under investigation by the new york attorney general…
