By many accounts Google Inc. is considered the prima donna when it comes to new millennium technology. In fact the company is so active; it’s a challenge to just keep track of what they are up to. An example of this involvement, is in Google’s involvement in laying a fiber-optic undersea cable which will run from Japan to the US. 

The nature of Google is to discover new things and monetize them.
