A supercomputer named Lonestar, at the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) has performed recently a laser cancer surgery on a dog without taking help of a surgeon.

The operation was done in Houston by the Lonestar supercomputer, a Dell Linux Cluster having 5,840 processors, which was in Austin without the help of a human surgeon. (more…)
