NATIONAL HARDWARE SHOW TO OCCUPY LAS VEGAS CONVENTION CENTER IN 2008

The 63rd National Hardware Show®, featuring Lawn & Garden World™, Homewares™, New Product World™, and the Inventor’s Spotlight, returns to Las Vegas, May 6-8, 2008, and — in response to manufacturers’ and retailers’ feedback — will occupy the Las Vegas Convention Center. Of particular importance to inventors, is The Inventor’s Spotlight, “the better mousetrap” if you will, focusing on those products that bring an innovative, never-before-seen approach for today’s homeowner and “DIY-er”. for the 2008 show. From current and former contractors, inventors and plain old every-day people, the Inventor’s Spotlight will provide a focus area on the show floor for small entrepreneurs looking to bring their products to market for manufacturing opportunities and retail distribution.

The UIA is the sponsor of the Inventors’ Spotlight areas for the 2008 show. The Inventors’ Spotlight enables each company to display up to two products on a table-top display and be listed in the Official National Hardware Show Directory. Participating companies must be first-time exhibitors to the show.

Old Country Buffets Welcome Inventors Old Country Buffet is celebrating Thomas Edison’s birthday, February 11th, with inventors on the east coast. If you are an inventor with a patent or patent pending, you are invited to go to one of the participating Old Country Buffets to show and talk about your product to the patrons. Buffets in the following 10 states are participating in this project: CT, FL, MA, ME, MD, NJ, NY, PA, RI and VA.
