Acacia Research a patent troll ?
For a company that makes no products, Acacia Research spends a lot of time fighting over patents in court. Acacia has filed at least 337 patent-related lawsuits in its 18 years.Acacia acquires patents from inventors and then seeks fees from companies that it says infringe on those patents. Because Acacia licenses technologies it doesn’t design or distribute, it is known as a “nonpracticing entity.”

* Company refuses to provide in writing the number of ideas that have been sent to them and how many they accepted.
* Company refuses to provide inventor with at least three clients (preferably in the inventor’s own local area) that can verify their credibility.

New Panasonic LED bulbs to last for 19 years

EverLeds LED Bulbs
Panasonic has launched a new household LED lightbulb in Japan that it says lasts 40 times longer than incandescent bulbs.
The screw-in bulbs are part of the EverLed line, and no changes to lighting equipment used for incandescents are required.
If used an average of five and a half hours per day, the new bulbs can last up to 19 years, according to Panasonic. That’s 40 times longer than incandescent bulbs.
