This canopy consists of a rigid front shell and a movable rear shell, which are mounted onto the load body of the vehicle. The rear shell moves backwards and forwards along guide rails which are fitted to the load body of the vehicle. Both shells are made of stainless steel as opposed to fibre glass used in most conventional canopies. The front and rear shells are connected to each other by a high quality and durable canvas, which folds away perfectly into the front shell once the canopy retracts. The movement of the shell along the guide rails operates by means of a driving mechanism that is powered by an electric motor. This motor is activated by means of an electronic remote controlled unit. This canopy facilitates the choice of having the use of the load body with a lockable boot or a totally enclosed load body. Either choice is available at the push of a button. The High 5 canopy consists of a number of well researched and developed components in order to facilitate easy replacement.
High 5 Canopies are:
